Hi friends,
I invite you to look around our newly designed website! I hope this format is fresh and easier for you to interact with.
‘m putting the finishing touches and prayers on a brief series entitled “Threads: A quick and dirty guide to living under empire” based on conversations I’ve had with Christian and marginalized friends after this year’s US Presidential election. In October, I broke my dominant hand, so writing has been significantly slower going. You can expect the first post out in the next day or so.

Last year, I asked several readers to give me feedback on a somatic devotional as part of my seminary program. I’m thrilled to announce that The Laundry Room, a collection of spiritual somatic experiences to help you encounter the Holy Trinity amidst a seemingly boring daily life, has officially launched! The first four devotionals are up now and are designed to help you connect with God while preparing your laundry, cooking dinner, cleaning a room, or making a grocery list. I encourage you to take time these next few weeks to utilize these somatic prayers and to let me know what ordinary tasks you’d like to see prayers for next. Also, sharing is caring! Please share them with friends and networks.

Finally, there’s two annual rhythms in the life of our community to get excited about! First, as hard as it is to believe, advent and New Year’s are almost upon us. The theme for this year’s advent series is, “THE KING of kings.” We’ll be exploring how Jesus’ kingdom interacts with the earthly kingdoms during messianic prophecies, and Jesus’ birth, life, and death. I hope you’ll join us for this exciting and timely topic beginning December 1st! I’m also currently at 43/52 books for the year. I look forward to unveiling my top books of the year and learning yours!

Thanks for being here, friends. Wherever you find yourself in this season, know that I’m with you and in prayer for you.
Love you. Mean it.
Bryce
